Our Charleston ribbon is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team.
The Sales Representative will work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30 am-4:00 pm. This role is a permanent, full-time position.
- Prepare estimates for new jobs, job changes, additional work scope, and ensure estimates are submitted on time
- Follow processes to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and professionalism
- Build and maintain positive relationships with current and potential customers
- Review order confirmations to ensure correct products have been entered and shipping dates are accurate
- Work alongside the operations and scheduling departments
- Communicate clearly
- Keep a positive attitude in all circumstances
- Maintain records of all estimates
- Act as a liaison between customers and co-workers
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to calculate amounts such as margin, mark up, discounts, etc.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organization and decision-making ability
- Good negotiation skills and persuasive ability
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers
- Willingness to learn products, systems and processes
